Classify ductile iron pipe based on joints

Classify ductile iron pipe based on joints as follows:

1. T-Type push-on Joint

T-Type joint ductile iron pipe adopts socket-spigot connection and rubber ring seal with a flexible joint, with a result of easier pipe installation & construction, and in addition, a certain angle of deflection generated brings an obvious superiority to make it be a current leader and broad use in all varieties of cast iron pipes.

2. STD Joint

As a ramification of T joint, not only does STD joint have same advantages as T joint, but has an outstanding feature of strong sealing performance under high pressure, which is preferential to clients in case of high pressure during pipeline design.

3. Binding Joint

The binding joints consists of l-type of anti-slip joint (S type), Il-type of self anchoring anti-slip joint (T type & STD type), IIl-type of sectional anti-slip joint (T type & STD type), etc. Besides most of advantages of T joint, anti-slip joint still has an outstanding feature of prevention of pipeline pull-out, which is suitable for the pipelines with a high pressure of supply water such as, fire protection, high-rise buildings, and some easy-slipping pipelines where it is unavailable to install buttress since the bending is only realized by means of pipeline or facing an easier occurrence of land subsidence.
